Rig-i-flex is a versatile I-beam track which has been engineered for both curved (Model 140) and straight (Model 141) cord traverses as well as for "walk along" use (Model 142). It was especially designed for heavy curtains on stages and TV studios and for enclosing areas in industrial plants. Model C140 utilizes spindles and idler brackets (charged as extras) for guiding the operating cord along curved areas. The track channel is curved on-the-job to a suggested minimum radius of 2 feet. This traveler cannot be used for reverse curving or serpentine layouts. Note: this track may not operate as quietly as Patriarc and Curvit-Sure tracks.

Models C140-R, C141-R and C142-R are identical to Models C140, C141 and C142 except that the carriers consist of nylon wheels (without ball bearings) which permit quieter track operation and they are more economically priced. When ordering, advise whether the track is to be ceiling-mounted or suspended. Manually operated cord-drawn curved tracks require more effort in pulling power than straight tracks. Therefore, motor-driven units should be used especially where sharp curves are involved. A special Center Take-Off Live End Pulley (No. C1403A) is obtainable for use with this track.

11 gauge extruded aluminum, mill finish. Obtainable in unspliced lengths up to 20'. May be curved on-the-job to recommended minimum radius of 2'. Flange above carrier prevents tilting or climbing of carrier. 1" wide x 2 1/2" high.

Carrier spacing: 12". Block constructed of plated steel supported from 2 nylon-tired ball-bearing wheels. Snap-On nylon spacers reduce noise and friction. Plated swivel for free, effortless curtain movement. Two rubber bumpers supplied with each carrier to function as noise-reducers. Carrier width: app. 1 3/8".

Used with Model 140 and 141 tracks. Pivoting block assembly constructed of plated steel supported from 4 nylon-tired ball-bearing wheels. Snap-On nylon spacers reduce noise and friction. 2 cord connectors provided for clamping cord to carrier assembly. Carrier width: app. 3 1/4".

Equipped with 2 oil-impregnated sleeve-bearing, super tough nylon wheels. Anchored solidly against track end. Pulley width app. 7".

Special sheaves for use on Models 141 and 141-R. Same wheels as on Model C1403. Pulley width: 3 1/4".

Equipped with 1 oil-impregnated sleeve-bearing, super tough nylon wheel. Anchored solidly against track end. Pulley width:
app. 5 1/4".

Recommended spacing: 5' (also on curves). For use on ceiling-mounted installations. Adjustable to any location. Top plate is mounted first, and then channel is installed. 1 1/2" long x 3 1/4" wide x 3/16" high.

Obtainable as extra. Consists of steel tubing supported from 2 ball bearings for guiding cord around curves. Also has ball-bearing wheel for guiding return cord. Always placed on live end pulley track section on inside of curve. Minimum pocket width to accommodate spindles and idlers: app. 16".

Obtainable as extra. Same as No. C1458 but without ball bearing wheel. Always placed on dead end pulley track section on inside of curve. Minimum pocket width to accommodate spindles and idlers: app. 16".

Obtainable as extra. Bracket includes ball-bearing wheel for guiding cord around curve. Always placed on dead end pulley track section on outside of curve. No. C1460-A used at overlap for continuous radius layouts. Minimum pocket width to accommodate spindles and idlers: app. 16".

Synthetic center and stretch-resistant. For manually operated tracks. No. 8(1/4" diam.).

For manual operation. Equipped with one 5" diameter glass-filled nylon ball-bearing wheel. Adjustable up to 7". 3"L X 5-1/2W X 13" H.

Recommended spacing: 4' (also at splices and on curves). Pipe batten recommended for suspended curved tracks. Adjustable to any location. Attach to pipe with pipe clamps for maximum rigidity. One pair attached in upside down position at each No. 142 and 142-R track end for curtain tie-off.
